New & Exclusive GRAFTED RANGE
“I’ve decided to graft an exclusive range of fantastic vegetables. Not only are they great for the allotment, but for the garden and containers as well! Grafting means they’ll produce up to 75% more produce and they’re more resistant to disease. Try them in the ground or in containers on the patio for veg all Summer long. Over the following pages you’ll find a host of exceptional varieties. Let’s start with the smallest tomato – the size of a currant but it packs a punch in terms of flavour!

Rob’s ‘Heritage Vegetables’ range may be a blast from the past but this doesn’t mean it’s not suitable for home gardeners and budding Michelin star chefs today!
I’m extremely proud to have teamed up with Dobies to offer you a new veg seed range to bring you a taste of the past this autumn..
‘Rob’s Heritage Vegetable Seeds & Plants‘ are a great selection of vegetables that gardeners used to grow throughout the country. I’ve always loved heritage vegetables, from the crazy names, to the fact that all these varieties can be grown from seed you save yourself. So, no expensive F1 varieties are needed. It’s gardening like our grandparents did, grow the seed, save the seed, sow the seed!
I wanted to include some varieties that are rarer than your usual seed. ‘Lettuce Leaf’ basil has leaves that can almost grow to the size of your hand, yet it’s an old Italian variety that most people have forgotten. ‘Honey Boat’ is a fantastically productive squash, it’s a good keeper and super sweet, one I found on my travels in California, yet Dobies is the only company selling this variety in the UK. We’re also offering the smallest tomatoes, with the biggest flavour that you’ve ever seen, they were found on a beach in Peru over 300 years ago!
