I love to grow my own fruit & veg, turning them into something tasty in the kitchen. You'll find out what I get up to every day on Instagram, from sowing and planting to pickling and preserving.
I started off gardening with my grandad in his vegetable garden, chasing butterflies and playing with frogs.
I was amazed that something as small and dull as a simple seed could transform and grow into something as colourful and tasty as the veggies we grow today.
I've always believed you should eat what you grow; pickling, storing and preserving along the way.
With that in mind chef Phil Vickery from TV's "This Morning" came to visit, I gave him a lesson on pickling while he prepared a couple of dishes from my Home-Grown veggies.

No, I'm a columnist for several national gardening magazines and also work with multiple gardening brands to introduce new seeds/plants to the home garden market.
I don't have a gardener even though it's a big plot. I have a friend who helps and of course Nipper & Reggie (the border terrier dogs) are always "helping", sadly my faithful Winston has now passed over the rainbow bridge.
I'm afraid not, its a private garden. However, feel free to enjoy it on social media.
You'll find the majority of photos for the website and magazine articles are taken by the very talented Darren Lakin (@DarrenLakin2).
